We are currently looking for a Business Controller for an exciting consulting assignment with a leading international player in the energy sector. The assignment is located within the Nuclear Service business area and is suitable for you who thrive in a business-close role where you combine financial analysis, business support, and development work.

Here you will have the opportunity to work in a complex and technology-intensive environment where you contribute qualified financial management and decision support to the operations. The role involves many contact points and close collaboration with both management, Business Administration, and other commercial functions.

About the assignment

As a Business Controller, you are responsible for analyzing and monitoring the company's financial results, as well as ensuring high quality in reporting, forecasts, and economic decision-making materials. You work both operationally and analytically and contribute to developing the company's financial processes and working methods.

An important part of the role is to support the business with insights regarding profitability, cost development, and business results, as well as to contribute to the continued digitalization and efficiency of financial processes.

In the role, you will among other things:

• Analyze and monitor result, balance sheet, and cash flow-related key figures
• Be responsible for financial status reporting to management and operations
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Work with budgets, forecasts, and financial planning
• Prepare analyses, reports, and decision-making materials for business operations
• Support project operations in certain Project Controller-related questions
• Ensure quality and transparency in financial monitoring
• Collaborate closely with Business Administration, project organization, and commercial functions
• Contribute to the development, standardization, and digitalization of financial processes and reporting solutions

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience in Business Controlling or similar qualified economic function
• Good understanding of accounting and financial relationships
• Experience working with P&L, balance sheets, and financial monitoring
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and analysis work
• Strong analytical skills and habit of working in a data-driven manner
• Very good knowledge of Excel
• Experience with SAP or other major business systems
• Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing

Meritorious

• Experience in project monitoring or Project Controlling
• Experience with Alteryx or other tools for data analysis and automation
• Experience from energy, industrial, technical, or project-intensive operations
• Experience in process development and digitalization initiatives within finance
